Winston-Salem’s Best Moving Company (CORE)

People usually learn over the years in an area such as, Winston-Salem, by word of mouth who is the best in a particular industry. Now in a world where families and individuals relocate for jobs, school or retirement it is common that the word of mouth  might not translate to new residents as it did in years past.

So my job today is to provide some knowledge and history on Winston-Salem’s best moving company, CORE Relocation Experts. CORE stands for Carolinas Office Relocation Experts and was formed in June 2010 after Lentz Transfer & Storage Company and the Lentz family closed the moving and storage business in Clemmons. Former employees of Lentz immediately reopened the moving and storage company under the name CORE Relocation Experts.

Lentz Transfer, a family moving and storage company, was started in1914. Lentz was the moving company that moved Wake Forest University to Winston-Salem. Also, Lentz served as a major moving vendor for R. J Reynolds and Wachovia which both started in Winston-Salem.

Lentz provided great service and had a great reputation in Winston-Salem for over 97 years. The need for CORE Relocation Experts and the desire of over 25 former employees of Lentz to stay in the moving and storage business was very important. Most of all the CORE employees, have over 20 years of working for Lentz.

So the tradition, history, experience and quality of Lentz Transfer lives on in a new company name, Carolinas Office Relocation Experts (CORE Relocation Experts). CORE even maintained the same home that Lentz offices had been in since the 70’s. Our moving office and storage warehouse are located in at 6300 Clementine Drive, Clemmons, NC 27012.
